Cell Phone Ringtones Cell Phone Games and Cell Phone Screensavers
I first started using cellphone ringtones and cell phone screensavers back in 2,001 and they were free using most Nokia cell phones. All you would have to do for the ringtones was look up on the internet and key press your melody into the phone. although the rintones are not nothing like they are today it was a cool feature back then. For the cell phone screensavers you could receive them by text message or MMS or if you had a cool Sony-Ericsson t68 you could transfer via Bluetooth or infrared.
As it caught on cell phone carriers seen how much money there was to make on this kind of service and then they started selling packages of downloads and still do. Now you can get your Horoscope, alerts, sports news and video as well with all the high speed data that these handsets can handle now days. It was a big boom. I like the games that are Java and brew with rich graphics you can play with your hansets or use your stylus. I used to have a Sony Ericsson P800 that had some really cool features like you can download an app and use your infrared port to change the channels of a TV. Now since smart phones have hit the market and other handsets you can tether to your computer it is once free again to download ringtones and screensavers to your phone. companies like Jamster and Playphone both which I’m a affiliate of have been losing money in the American market but still make considerable moola in foreign countries that have not cought up to the technology yet.
